'Patient information' by pharmaceutical companies: letter to European Health Ministers

Patient information is on the agenda of the Council of Ministers' of Health meeting scheduled for Tuesday 10 June 2008 (item 16) (Employment, Social policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council). We wish to draw your attention to this vital issue, which raises the highly controversial question of the pharmaceutical companies' role in providing "information" to patients.
